Adam provides legal counsel to Yukon businesses, institutions, and First Nations. His practice focuses on corporate governance, contract / legislative drafting and review, regulatory compliance, and efficient dispute resolution. Adam also acts as an arbitrator..
Adam draws from his research background and extensive knowledge of Canadian law to provide clear, practical advice tailored to the needs of northern organizations. His specialty is helping clients avoid disputes through proactive legal planning, and, when disputes arise, resolving them discreetly and efficiently.
Based in Ottawa, Adam represents Yukon interests in the federal capital, providing advocacy and institutional connections to the federal government that northern organizations need.
He has served on academic committees and governing bodies at the University of Ottawa, as a union president, and in roles with both houses of Canada’s Parliament.
Adam maintains a publishing program in which he conducts personal research on law, specifically legal history and the importance of understanding the context in which legal issues arise.
Adam is licensed to practice in Ontario, Yukon, and Nunavut.
